Natasha has a warm, non-judgemental approach and is committed to providing evidence-based, trauma-informed care. She aims to gain a deeper understanding of the factors affecting the people she works with and to identify opportunities for change with them. She draws from a variety of treatment modalities, such as Schema Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).
Natasha completed her Master of Clinical Psychology and Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Western Australia. She is experienced in working with clients of all ages, and focusses her work to clients who present with depression and anxiety, trauma symptoms, attachment-based disorders, stress and adjustment difficulties, and interpersonal difficulties.
Natasha’s approach enables a sense of trust and connection to develop easily, which is beneficial for working with any presenting issue. As this helps her clients to feel empowered and to draw upon their own recovery-oriented strengths. This further enables her clients to process their real-world experiences in a helpful way and to get back to feeling how they’d hope to feel.
We’re proud to have Natasha as part of our team, as she shares her warmth, caring nature and humour with us too.
